Mission statement: creating memories and experiences beyond the classroom to foster bonding, growth and enjoyment, in turn making the journey more fruitful #YouOnlyMBAonce
The Sauder SEx Club exists to ensure all students have a great time during their MBA via non-academic activities. The idea is to create events that allow everyone to fully experience not only what this beautiful city has to offer, but also all the people with whom you'll be sharing this journey — becoming more interesting and rounded in the process.
Some of the activities include hikes, dance performances, Sauder Cultural Soirée, beach picnics, weekly football games, and road trips. You can find glimpses of them on Instagram at @UBCMBA2025
President: Aakash Jhaveri
Aakash did his graduation from Mumbai in business and marketing, before moving to journalism and eventually becoming a product manager in consumer technology. AJ enjoys taking initiative to create events that are inclusive and unique, giving participants a chance to try new things and have new experiences.
He is usually the photographer of the group, organises regular sports meet ups, and can often be found exploring new spots for travel and food.
