VP Academics:
Dana Fallis

Dana is a licensed teacher and ESL specialist with 5 years of experience working in international education. In her past roles as a teacher and program manager, she's always been passionate about building community and this is something she wants to bring to the MBA class. She is one of the many pet-owners in our cohort and her pug Otis has attended most of our online classes.

She is also a coffee fanatic and is always happy to connect for a coffee chat. If you find yourself downtown, she would love to take you to one of her favourite coffee places!

Kai Chan

Kai has over 8 years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate communications, as well as B2B and B2C marketing. He was blessed with the opportunity to work across a gamut of industries, from sustainability, to automotive and aerospace. His proudest recent professional achievement was strategizing COVID-19 initiatives for the Singapore government, implemented nationwide.

Known as the biggest, most obsessed automotive nerd in the known universe, Kai can always be found reading about cars, under a car, or surrounded by cars (likely in a junkyard rummaging for parts). If you too want to get calluses on your hands from working on old cars, call Kai anytime!

Elizabeth Zeunert

Elizabeth is a strategist who seeks to bring together people and diverse culture to create an impact. In her pre-MBA career, Elizabeth worked in management consulting, building capacity for indigenous organizations, social enterprises and not-for-profits. Post-MBA she looks forward to using leadership to promote strong community and positive, inclusive corporate culture to drive business development. When she is not studying away, Elizabeth can be found cooking gourmet meals, exploring the outdoors or playing piano.

Sami Sekhon

Sami is a values-based leader who is passionate about transforming and collaborating with business, government, and non-profit sectors, to create impactful solutions that improve the wellbeing of communities. With 5 years of work experience in the public and non-profit sectors, she hopes to continue to drive meaningful change while adding emphasis on the importance on creating diverse opportunities, equitable access, and inclusive spaces throughout.

As VP Internal, Sami is looking forward to fostering a culture that brings our cohort together to uplift, support and celebrate each other through the next year of our MBA and beyond. In her free time Sami loves to play soccer – outdoor, futsol or beach – and can be seen overstaying her visit at any of Vancouver’s great patios or breweries.

Kyle Randall

Kyle is an engineer by trade with a background in consulting, operations, and sales. Most recently he worked in the Structural Restoration industry within the commercial, private, and public sectors. Other than his 120lbs Berner, Bruce, he is most proud of his work on a national technical liaison group, his ride to conquer cancer team, and bringing people together to make some memories. In he’s not hiking with Bruce he’s playing sports, watching sports, or having beers with friends.

If you ever want to grab a drink, go for a ride, or practice your swings on the golf course, Kyle’s your guy!

VP Finance:
Laura Lopez

Laura is an industrial engineer and a business administrator with 3+ years of experience in treasury and financial planning. Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, she spent a year in France and then immigrated to Canada in 2019. She is a champion for turning the finance department into a business partner for all the areas in the organization.

During her free time, she can be found hanging out with her husband and their two rescue cats, running or walking in Vancouver’s sea walk, or enjoying a cold apple cider. Reach out to Laura if you want an Excel tip or for a tennis doubles match!

Development:
Abigail Okyere

After completing the University of Ghana Business School, Abigail went ahead to qualify as a chartered management accountant (CIMA). She has a professional background working in oil trading, project management and finance capacities. At one point in time, co-founded an e-commerce start-up in Ghana as well.

As one of the core leaders of The GracedLife Leadership Centre, she currently trains young people in creative arts, theatre and TV production, after setting up her own theatre production. She has over the course of 4 years, staged plays on both national and academic platforms, trained several young people and created jobs for others in the process. She loves poetry, dance and anything arts. Post-MBA aspirations? Stay happy!
