UBC Sauder Finance Club connects MBA students with practical finance skills, industry insights, and a strong peer network. We host speaker events, technical workshops (valuation, markets, modeling), career panels, and recruitment preparation, while creating opportunities to collaborate with the Finance Lab and other student groups. The club is member-led and run by an executive team that plans programming, manages partnerships, and delivers events throughout the year. Our goal is to make finance accessible, career-relevant, and community-driven for all members.

Co-President: Celine Agatha

Celine Agatha is the Co-President of the Finance Club and is excited to bring a global perspective to the role. Before starting her MBA, she worked across Asia: from analyzing crypto markets in Jakarta to supporting payment systems and compliance in Singapore. She’s fascinated by how finance connects people, businesses, and economies, and loves creating opportunities for members to explore everything from investment banking and fintech to asset management and corporate finance. When she’s not talking finance, Celine is busy with Pilates classes, discovering new food spots, and making the most of the West Coast lifestyle.

Co-President:
Kae Yokoyama

Kae Yokoyama is a Co-President of the Finance Club and is excited to help build a welcoming community for students who are curious about finance. Before starting her MBA, she developed a strong foundation in accounting and financial reporting, which sparked her interest in making finance feel clear, practical, and usable. At Sauder, Kae enjoys creating beginner-friendly learning opportunities and bringing in speakers who share real-world perspectives across corporate finance, banking, and investing. She also loves collaborating with classmates from different industries and career goals to bring ideas into action. When she is not talking finance, Kae is staying active, discovering new food spots, and exploring British Columbia.
