Here's a quick break-down on the post-core Marketing courses. Details for all these courses can be found on the Sauder website under the Modules section.
Marketing
BAMA 500 Marketing Strategy: great intro class using case discussions.
BAMA 501 Pricing: good for Finance specializations.
BAMA 503 New Product Development: if you are thinking of launching your own product or invention, then this class is for you.
BAMA 504 Integrated Marketing Communication: you have the chance to work on the marketing plan for a local company. You pick the company so this could be a great first step at securing your summer internship.
BAMA 506 Consumer Behaviour: I personally did not take this class, but Dale Griffin is a great prof!
BAMA 508 Marketing Research: Dale Griffin also teaches this class. Great prep for internships and for all those surveys we do in class!
BAMA 512 Database Marketing and Data Mining: I personally did not take this class, but I hear it also a good class for Finance students.
BAMA 513 Internet Marketing: This is essential for anyone who wants to go into Marketing as it matches the offline world with the online world. Again you work on an e-marketing plan for a local company.
BAMA 514 Brand Management: great case study class and good for anyone interested in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry.
BAMA 515 Strategic Management of Services: One of my favourite classes and essential for anybody going interested in working in services (consulting, account management, hotel management, retail, etc.)
BAMA 530 International Marketing Strategy: very similar to John Ries's International Trading Environment class.
BAMA 580 Channel Management: I personally did not take this class.
BAMA 580A Strategies in Sales Management: I personally did not take this class.
BAMA 580B Creativity: this is a new class being offered next year.
