Brittany is the president of the MBA Executive Society. With 9+ years of military and project management experience in high-impact operations, Brittany is a proven leader of multidisciplinary teams with experience managing everything from frigates, carrying 250+ specialized personnel, to leading a UN conference. She has extensive experience in change management, operations, and organizational processes with a keen interest in CSR. She is known for her strategic thinking, grit, and relationship-building skills. During her free time Brittany enjoys learning languages, back-country treks, surfing, biking, and skiing.
Sam is a business analysis enthusiast with three years’ experience in sales and marketing in both B2B and retail environments, and change management. Experienced in data analysis and database management. Creative problem solver who is constantly looking to learn. Culture ambassador and change champion with success in implementing sustainable processes and tools adopted long-term. Ability to balance effective and well-socialized solutions when solving complex problems within many different firms.
Reid completed a BSc and BEd, both from the University of British Columbia, and then proceeded to work in education for five years before deciding to start the MBA program. He enjoys strategy board games, cooking and all things food related, and athletics. In his role as VP Academic, Reid looks to bridge the gap between faculty and students and build long-term improvements to the program with regard to all things academic.
Arushi is a former journalist with over 6 years of experience in the broadcast and online media sector. She is experienced in working with startups and a wide-variety of media organizations with exceptional interpersonal, analytical and project management skills. When she’s not working, she feeds her hummus addiction and backpacks to explore new places and meet new people. As VP Communications, Arushi manages the MBA Society website and is responsible for to keeping the MBA students informed and updated!
A natural people person and sports enthusiast, Luiz can found playing tennis or squash and socializing to create new connections.As VP External, Luiz is responsible for acting as a liaison between the MBA program and the greater business community. Luiz aims to help ensure students are well-equipped with the right tools to take their career to the next level.
Harsh is an experienced project manager with more than 8 years of experience in construction, energy and public service. He has led large-scale flagship power transmission projects in challenging environments, while managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders of diverse levels, backgrounds, and corporate cultures. He enjoys travelling, high-altitude trekking, playing soccer, amateur landscape photography and beer. His priority as VP Events is promoting inclusivity and fostering an environment that enhances the MBA experience.
Bryn is the acting Vice President - Finance on the MBA executive committee. Bryn hails from Toronto, Ontario and comes from a background of engineering consulting with an undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Queen’s University. He hopes to be an effective, contributing leader on the executive committee and proudly represent the Sauder MBA class of 2020. During his term, Bryn plans to improve budgeting measures for future classes, create or improve financial tools at the society’s disposal, and responsibly represent the MBA class of 2020 in his role.
Born and raised in the ‘Maximum City’ Mumbai in India, Inderjit graduated with a degree in management studies from University of Mumbai. He brings with him over 4 years of experience in commercial real estate having worked in two different roles focused on institutional investments and corporate strategy & leasing. Inderjit is a positive, high energy individual who loves exploring the outdoors and meeting people from different walks of life. As part of the Sauder MBA family, he is looking forward to serving the class by facilitating non-academic student development activities, workshops and events.
