Club Mission The Entrepreneurship Club is is a unique group managed by entrepreneurial minded young professionals of Sauder School of Business, University of British Columbia, Vancouver and committed to building upon the entrepreneurial education and opportunities provided. The objective of this group is : Creating opportunity for B School students to network with Business leaders and professionals. Discuss business, build contacts and create ripples in the business world that awaits them. The Club members follow therefore only one single mission: " We support each other in becoming more successful every single day - starting today " Benefits to students and young professionals on joining this group: 1. Maurice Young Entrepreneurship and Ventur Capital Research Centre The Centre, established in 1992, promotes learning and research related to entrepreneurship, and encourages dialogue and cooperation between the university, business, policy makers and other stakeholders. The Centre creates new knowledge of entrepreneurship and venture capital, advances entrepreneurial business activity and promotes economic growth. Its research covers theoretical, empirical, experimental and field studies of entrepreneurship. The Centre shares this research through workshops, symposia, and internship programs. |
