Club Mandate
Our mission is to serve as a gateway to the IT business community and educate the club members on the latest trends and business news. Because students are out of the workforce during the 15-month MBA program, we work to ensure our members stay connected with the rapidly changing technology industry.
Understanding how IT can be effectively leveraged is a managerial requirement in today’s organizations. Technology forms a significant component in almost every strategic decision you will make as a manger in the years to come. Throughout the year there will be plenty of opportunities for you to learn more about current trends and technological developments through informal seminars hosted by club executives or industry professionals.
In the end, our goal is to create as many opportunities as possible for club members to meet with the business community through an ongoing guest speaker series, professional IT conferences, and industry visits (both in Canada and the US). Most importantly, we want you to have fun and enjoy being as geeky as we are.
